NITRIFICATION INHIBITORS DCD FORTIFIED TO EC FERTILIZER

Thanks to the nitrifi cation inhibitor DCD, ammoniacal nitrogen, absorbed by the colloids in the clay component and therefore unable to be washed away, is gradually transformed into nitric nitrogen over the course of sixty to ninety days. Throughout this whole period, the nitrogen is released to he plants gradually, thereby reducing wastage through being washed out of the soil or becoming volatile upon contact with the atmosphere. In order to guarantee and further improve the maximum nutritional and environmental results, during the production process Dicyandiamide (DCD) is distributed in a microcrystalline state into a mixture with other raw materials (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) which is subsequently compacted.
