K-Adriatica's fertilizers to favor the physiological balance of plants

In hazel, the pollination stage and subsequent embryo formation is crucial to ensure a good productive outcome. It is well known that embryo development in this crop is remarkably slow, taking about 3-4 months, and involves a high metabolic expenditure; in addition, it should be noted that this stage is subject to frequent environmental stresses, particularly pronounced in recent years, which can significantly affect production performance.

K-Adriatica, a company specializing in the development of fertilizers, manures, and nutritional solutions for plants, has developed an ad hoc nutrition strategy for hazelnuts that combines the use of NPK fertilizers with titrations adapted to the needs of hazelnut production (Hazelnut Plus) with a mix of particularly effective biostimulants, such as K-Adriatica's ENA 19989 and K-Adriatica's physiological activator Actimol 80 during vegetative recovery, followed by RA. AN L 13186 from K-Adriatica during fruit growth.
Maria Rosaria Stile, Research & Development Manager of Kappa Fertilizzanti, explained to Italfruit News the results obtained in the last three years of experimentation: "The trials, carried out by both K-Adriatica's technical staff and Agrion's experimental center, took place in Cuneo, the heart of Italian coril production, with really interesting results: from the production point of view, our thesis recorded an increase of about 15 percentage points compared to the control group, despite the environmental stress conditions that occurred. In particular, a test showed that the application of K-Adriatica's nutritional solutions resulted in an earlier entry into full production of the plant."
"The reason for these results is very specific - continues Stile of Adriatica s.p.a - K-Adriatica's fertilizers provide essential nutrients at the right time. The application of K-Adriatica's Ena19989 and K-Adriatica's physiological activator Actimol 80 during vegetative recovery is designed to promote optimal plant development by improving photosynthetic efficiency due to the presence of Magnesium and Iron. This combination at the same time supports nitrogen metabolism due to the significant supply of Molybdenum. The addition of Boron promotes pollen and ovary fertility, supported by the crucial action of Zinc, which contributes to the distension of the pollen tube, making it easier for pollen to reach the ovary and ensuring better fertilization. In addition, The organic complex that carries them provides energy to the plant, supporting it in the delicate stages of the beginning of fruit development to minimize the problem of fruit drop."
In addition, points out the Adriatica Group researcher: "The application of K-Adriatica's RA.AN L 13186 promotes optimal fruit development and helps the plant achieve and maintain a productive vegetative balance even in the presence of possible stress situations."

"The conclusion we have come to at K-Adriatica, which is also shared by Agrion researchers - Stile closes - is that the application of foliar biostimulants is undoubtedly an advantage in promoting the physiological rebalancing of plants, especially in seasons characterized by spring temperature swings and climatic anomalies that can stress them and compromise their productive performance.”
