The granular formulation of these products is obtained through compaction, a dry granulation process borrowed from the pharmaceutical industry that uses mechanical compression to agglomerate the particles of the raw materials. This allows for granules to be obtained without adding solvents, which can have a negative impact on the final solubility of the product. The compacted granules rapidly dissolve in the ground allowing a fast nutrients' root uptake, making these fertilizers very efficacious. Low Chlorine Content (LCC/BTC) formulations are also available that couple all the advantages of the NPKs with the quality of Low-Chlorine Potassium (< 2%), which is the best quality of potassium.
K-BIO S28 B.T.C. is a multi-nutrient mineral fertilizer of the K-BIO LINE with a strong fortifying action, which acts at the cellular level to increase plant resistance. The high potassium content, in synergy with calcium, strengthens plant tissues therefore increasing plant resistance to extreme temperatures and environmental stress, as well as to the main plant physiological disorders. Sulfur, with its strong acidifying action on the rhizosphere, improves nutrient absorption and thus plant development. And finally Magnesium, by enhancing chlorophyll synthesis and photosynthetic activity, increases dry matter and production quality. The particular composition makes K-BIO S28 B.T.C. a product allowed in organic farming. Suitable for all crops, in particular for those sensitive to chlorine.
